There are many benefits of prenatal and postnatal exercise. We all know exercise is important in our everyday lives. It can become even more important while you are pregnant. The added strain on your body physically and mentally during pregnancy can be like preparing your bodies for a marathon. And, of course you would train for a marathon, right? exercise will assist in controlling weight gain, which – in addition to physical benefits – enhances body image, confidence, and self-awareness. This can also help to prevent or manage gestational diabetes.
Regular exercise has numerous health benefits, all of which apply to a pre and postnatal woman as at any other stage of life. A healthy strong body and positive attitude will allow you cope with the physical and psychological challenges that may arise during your journey as a mum.
After having a baby many women strive to lose the weight gained through pregnancy and get their tummy back quickly. Incorrect exercises and poor technique can cause many problems therefore it is imperative you exercise safely and gradually with the right supervision and guidance.
